i still cant download audio from dictionary entries. i get a message saying i need a subscription. i just upgraded my subscription to a lifetime unlimited subscription but i still get the same error. i tried using my email for my login information but this doesnt work on the app, it says its an invalid account. can you please resolve this issue or provide me with a refund if you cant?

We just have published an updated version of the Android application, can you please upgrade to that version? It will include many improvements. Please contact us if you still are facing that problems with that new version.
i am using the upgraded version. the weird thing is if i add a word to a list, it downloads the sound without any issue, but if i try to hear the audio of an entry which isnt in any of my lists it tells me that i need a valid subscription. ps. the upgraded version looks great, i really hope you can fix this one issue!
we will look into this and update you tomorrow. just wondering if you have had any luck finding out what the problem is. |

We have tried many ways to reproduce the problem you mention but could not find a problem, even using your nickname.
But while testing we found that users who have a nickname which is separated by blanks into 2 or more parts will have a problem like you describe. For the later users we have included a correction into our next release (which by the way will also correct a number of other errors and include some additional small improvements). If it is possible please try to insatll that version (currently available as aintermediate beta - but very stable) and then let us know. If the problem is there still, then please let us know what kind of search you did and what word(s) do not have audio. To get and install the beta please type: http://www.trainchinese.com/android/beta.php into the browser of your phone. still getting the same problem. any word that i have as a card works. however, if i search the trainchinese dictionary, i can view other words and sentences associated with the words but when i try to listen to the audio i get this message: trainchinese.com did not recognize your account details. only trainchinese users can download audio recordings. for example: i have the word 楼 (floor) in my cards so the audio works but if i try to listen to the example sentence i get the error message.
just did some more testing and realized that i only get audio when accessing a word through my cards. so even for 樓 i can get the audi when i view the word through my cards but if i view the word through the dictionary, i get the error message when attempting to listen to the audio. i can get around this by adding the word/sentence to my dictionary and then going to my cards but its not really convenient especially for sentences

Hi,
I am very sorry, we have still no clue what could be the problem. It seems very specific to your case - may be even your phone. Would it be possible for you to change your password and then try again? The password can be changed on the website, and then needs to be changed also on the phone.
