I use the trainchinese dictionary app on my phone (android) a lot, not only for translation purposes, but also to add new words to my flashcards. Recently when I search for words, the top results are just sentences and I need to scroll down (a lot!) to find the word I was looking for, also words with similar -but not the same- pinyin appear in the results, This is new, since till yesterday I always got the word I was looking for in the first or maybe second place. Did something change in my settings? Or in the programs settings? Is there something I can do about it?

Hi,
with the latest update of the app, we have done some changes on the search algorithm (particularly for searches in English and Chinese) and it seems to have affected the Pinyin search too in the cases where the search includes several Pinyin terms - sorry for that!
We already are preparing an correction for that (may take 2-3 days) then it will be placed on the Android markets.

Hi, I'm the developer for the Android app. Can you give an example of a search that leads to too much scrolling? I'm interested to know if it's because Translation results are appearing first and you're having to scroll through them, or because the Pinyin results are ordered in a strange way.

For example when you search for 'bian'' or 'biao'
