There seems to be some problems with the search engine. When searched for "advertisement" it produced no results, but when I searched for "广告" the search was successful. Similarly, a search for "female" or "nv" or "nu" does not produce a card with the single character "女", but using the "女" in the search field does.

Thnk you for letting us know, we did not handle correctly some words. Such as in the case of "advertisement". We have corrected that error.
As for the search for nv (or alternatively nu: or nü) as this is a search for Pinyin, on the website please press the button named "Pinyin" - then you should get the right results. A serch for nu will not give 女 as a result. Finally, should you be searching for specific parts of speech (for example are only interested in characters), then you can add the part of speech followed by a dot at the end of the search. For example "woman char." would result only in 妇 and 女. In the same way for example "advertisement n." will return only nouns, etc. |
