Simplified stroke orders are based on the 'Standard of National Commonly-used Mandarin Chinese Characters (现代汉语通用字笔顺规范)', issued by the China National Language and Character Working Committee (国家语言文字工作委员会) on April 7th 1997. Traditional stroke orders are based on information issued by the Taiwan Ministry of Education.
gǎn fēi jī
phr. to rush to catch the plane
gǎn miào huì
phr. go to the temple fair
wǒ dào běi jīng de shí hou zhèng háo gǎn shàng xià yǔ .
phr. It happened to rain when I arrived in Beijing.
wǒ gāng háo gǎn shàng le zuì hòu yí tàng huǒ chē .
phr. Luckily, I caught the last train.
qū gǎn
v. drive; drift
gǎn jìn shā jué
v. drive away and exterminate everyone, wipe out the whole lot
gǎn chē
v. catch the bus or train; drive a cart
gǎn cháo liú
phr. to go after new fashion
gán kǎo
v. go and take an imperial examination
tā men hái yào jì xù gǎn lù
phr. They still have to continue to hurry on their ways.
jiē zhe tā yòu mǎ shàng gǎn dào fáng chǎn zhōng jiè gōng sī , wěi tuō zhōng jiè gōng sī bāng tā mài fáng zi .
