默默 (mòmò) is used to describe someone who is quiet, silent, or mute. For example, 她默默地坐在那里 (tā mòmò de zuò zài nà li) means "She sat there quietly". It can also be used to describe someone who does something without drawing attention to themselves, such as 她默默地做了一件好事 (tā mòmò de zuò le yī jiàn hǎo shì) which means "She did a good deed without drawing attention to herself".
