难忘 (nánwàng) is usually used in conversation to describe a memorable or unforgettable experience or event. It can also be used to express strong emotions or feelings towards something or someone.
For example:
- 这次旅行真是难忘 (zhè cì lǚxíng zhēn shì nánwàng) - This trip was truly unforgettable.
- 我永远不会忘记你,你是我生命中最难忘的人 (wǒ yǒngyuǎn bù huì wàngjì nǐ, nǐ shì wǒ shēngmìng zhōng zuì nánwàng de rén) - I will never forget you, you are the most unforgettable person in my life.
- 那是我人生中最难忘的一天 (nà shì wǒ rénshēng zhōng zuì nánwàng de yī tiān) - That was the most unforgettable day of my life.
In some cases, 难忘 (nánwàng) can also be used sarcastically to describe a negative experience that one wishes to forget.
- 那次考试真是难忘 (nà cì kǎoshì zhēn shì nánwàng) - That exam was truly unforgettable (sarcastically implying it was a terrible experience).
