Hi, for this character 方, the correct sequence of strokes should be: 1.点(dot), 2.横(horizontal stroke), 3.横折钩 (horizontal break hook), 4.撇 (left-falling stroke). Please note that in other resources on the Internet you might see otherwise, but this sequence above is the most standard one.
