成长 vs 生长
成长 is usually referring a person becoming mature (not only physically, but also mentally). It has another meaning referring an economy/industry developing or growing, but it's not very often used.
生长 has two meanings. When it refers to a plant, and when it refers to a person. If it's a person, then it means "to be born and raised".
How is 成长 (chéngzhǎng) commonly used in a sentence?
