校友 (xiàoyǒu) is typically used in a sentence to refer to someone who has graduated from the same school or university as the speaker. It can also refer to the relationship between alumni, or the group of alumni from a particular school.
Example 1: 我和我的校友们一起参加了校庆活动。(Wǒ hé wǒ de xiàoyǒu men yīqǐ cānjiā le xiàoqìng huódòng.)
