What is the difference between 比分 (bi3 fen1) and 得分 (de2 fen1)?

比分 and 得分 can both be translated as "score" in English, however, they have a distinct difference: 比分 (bi3 fen1) refers to the number of points made by both players or teams in a game; 得分 (de2 fen1) refers to the number of points or goals made by one player or team in a game.
