从此以后 (cóng cǐ yǐhòu) is usually used to indicate that something will happen from the present moment onwards. It is often used to express a change in the status quo, or to emphasize that something will happen from now on. For example, 从此以后，我们要每天早起 (cóng cǐ yǐhòu, wǒmen yào měitiān zǎoqǐ, "From now on, we will get up early every day").
