引进 (yǐnjìn) is commonly used to refer to the introduction of something from outside, such as a new policy, technology, or product. For example, one might say 中国正在引进新技术 (Zhōngguó zhèngzài yǐnjìn xīn jìshù) to mean "China is introducing new technology".

引入 (yǐnrù) could be used instead of 引进 (yǐnjìn). Both words mean "introduce from elsewhere, bring in". The difference is that 引进 (yǐnjìn) implies a more active action, while 引入 (yǐnrù) implies a more passive action.
