You can use 尽力 (jìn lì) when you want to express that you are doing your best to achieve something. For example, you can say "我会尽力完成这项任务" (wǒ huì jìn lì wán chéng zhè xiàng rèn wù) which means "I will try my best to complete this task". It is similar to the English phrase "I will do my best".
