介绍 (jièshào) is used to introduce someone or something to another person. For example, you might say "我来介绍一下我的朋友，他叫李雷" (wǒ lái jièshào yīxià wǒ de péngyou, tā jiào Lǐ Léi) which means "Let me introduce my friend, his name is Li Lei".
