似曾相识 (sì céng xiāngshí) is commonly used in conversation to express a feeling of familiarity or a sense of déjà vu. It can be used when meeting someone for the first time but feeling like you have met them before, or when encountering a situation that feels familiar even though you have never experienced it before.
For example, if you meet someone and feel like you have met them before, you can say "你给我一种似曾相识的感觉" (nǐ gěi wǒ yī zhǒng sì céng xiāngshí de gǎnjué) which means "You give me a feeling of familiarity."
