Thank you very much for raising this. In fact both are correct. From the point of view of mainland China 献血 is more standard, as it is more often seen and used there, while 捐血 still can be used there some times. As for 捐血 is used more frequently in Taiwan.
We have just added 捐血 to the dictionary and made remarks as regard to the use. Please take into account that the corrections made in our dictionary are visible immediately for on-line users while the off line dictionaries of the applications will automatically be corrected with the next update of the application.
