Hi there both are correct and they are used interchangeably referring to the same thing. Thank you! We've added these two as synonyms:
- 饼茶 / 餅茶 [bing3 cha2] , (n) cake tea, tea pressed into a round flat shape
- 茶饼 / 茶餅 [cha2 bing3] , (n) tea cake, tea pressed into the shape of a flat round cake

Thanks a lot for your reply . From the English translations you kindly provided I’m getting that 茶饼 would place the emphasis on the “cake” itself , as in the actual round flat object made of tea , while 饼茶 on the other hand has the emphasis on the type of tea itself that can be formed into a “cake” . Hope I’m getting it right . Thanks again!
