哪里 and 哪儿 don't have much of a difference when they mean "where".
But 哪里 can also mean "no, not at all (used when someone shows a polite response to others' praise) ".

哪里 (nǎlǐ) is a Chinese word meaning "where". It is used to ask a question about the location of something or someone. For example, you can say: 你在哪里?(nǐ zài nǎlǐ? - Where are you?) or 你想去哪里?(nǐ xiǎng qù nǎlǐ? - Where do you want to go?).
