每天 and 天天 have the same meaning, but they are used differently in specific contexts:
1. 每天 can be used in both formal and informal situations. 天天, on the other hand, is mostly used in spoken Chinese and informal contexts.
2. 每天 carries a neutral tone. When you use 每天 you are just making a neutral statement of an action or event that happens regularly everyday; while 天天 sometimes carries the speaker's subjective attitudes or emotions.
他天天给我打电话，我都烦死了。 He calls me every day; I am annoyed to death. -- In this sentence, it's better that we use 天天 instead of 每天. Because 每天 does not express the speaker's feeling.
