幸亏 is an adverb. In Chinese, there is another word very similar to 幸亏 , which is 多亏. In this post, we analyse the differences between 幸亏 and 多亏.

幸亏 is an adverb and is usually used at the beginning of a clause. It cannot be followed by 了 or any noun/ pronoun. In comparison, 多亏 is a verb and it can be followed by 了. We can use a clause, a noun/ pronoun/ nominal phrase after 多亏.
