V+个… can be used between a verb and it’s complement to indicate emphasis:
1. 这一对好朋友已经三年没见了、今天一见面就说个不停。These two good friends haven’t seen each other for three whole years. Today they talked nonstop once they saw each other.
2. 这些菜都是我在院子里种的、今天让你们吃个新鲜。All these veggies are ones I grew in my yard. Today I’ll let you eat them fresh.
