The conjunction 因为 is often paired with 所以 in a complex sentence to indicate cause and effect. For example:
Example 1. 因为下雨,所以他没去踢足球。 [phr] Because of the rain, he did not go to play football.

It is not necessary that the two appear together in a sentence: 因为 can be used by itself at the beginning of the first clause indicating the cause or reason (Example 2).
Example 2. 因为工作太忙,他已经一年没有休假了。 [phr] He is so busy that he has kept working for a whole year without any holidays.

We can use only 因为 in the second clause indicating the cause (Example 3). In this case 所以 must NOT be used anymore at the beginning of the first clause:
Example 3. 我喜欢夏天,因为我可以在大海里游泳。 [phr] I like summer because I can swim in the sea. (It is wrong to say: *所以我喜欢夏天,因为我可以在大海里游泳。)

If we really want to use 所以 in the first clause, the structure should be like this: (之)所以…,是因为….。”(Example 4).
Example 4. 我(之)所以喜欢夏天,是因为我可以在大海里游泳。
