Hi,
Is there a way of changing a word from learned to unlearned? Often I will come across a word that I had learned a few months back but have now forgotten and want to retrain. On the previous version of the app, I would get around this by deleting the card and reloading it. However, there seems to be a problem with deleting learned cards on the current version. I delete the card, press update but it remains among my flash cards. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong? Finally, I cannot get the app to work in landscape, which is quite annoying as I like to stand my iPad while studying and with the cover I use it is unstable when in portrait mode. To end on a positive note though, thanks enormously for the app. It generally works fantastically and has been immensely useful in learning mandarin, in particular the characters. Also the new look is excellent, very sleek.

There is no \"Learn again\" function yet, but we will implement it (as a result of your question). Nevertheless the method used by you in the past (delete the word then adding again) should still work.
Could you provide details on when the delete card function did not work by email to cs@trainchinese.com? Landscape mode will be supported in the next Update which should be available soon. |

I am also having trouble deleting words from my list. I put a tick in the check box and select delete but it still says in my list. Also, I know we have a function to search for a word and then add it but if I search for a word that is on my training list, there is no option to delete it so I have to manually look through all of my words.
Am not sure, but could not reproduce that behaviour: In Content: - if you choose a word list, then you can check on individual words to delete them. They will be deleted from the list. should that be the only list the card is in, then that card will be completely deleted. - If you choose to see the flashcards and tick there to delete, then the card will be deleted from the flashcards and also from all lists the card is in. To make sure all the functions on the website are working well, could you re-load the content page on your browser (pressing the reload button next to the address bar of the browser)? |

Dear Klaus,
is it possible to unlearn a specific list? Best wishes Thomas Yes - you can select the list using the "Contents" of the website and then all words and set them to be "Learn again" |

I also have the problem where I need to unlearn cards. When will this feature be added? Hopefully very soon!
The function to unlearn words has been implemented on the iOS application as well as on the Android application. It is also available on the website (a ideal place in case you like to "unlearn" a set of words). To unlearn words on the iOS or Android applications: Select the list where the words are contained, then either select the corresponding word or swipe on the word (on Android tap longer time on it) in the list. In both cases there is a Unlearn button. |
