The trainchinese Desktop application should work fine on Windows PC, Mac and Unix PC.
Could you tell us what kind of PC you are running, and if it starts, where does it stop working? Is there any message?
Thank you, now it is clearer. We did not experience that problem before but will investigate. One additional question, is the PC connected to the internet when you are experiencing that problem? Yes, my PC is connected to the internet. |

We checked but could not find a problem with it. We also did install and run the Desktop application on our Windows 7 environment and it worked fine, so I would suggest to remove it and then reinstalling the application with the hope that the problem resolves.
To de-install the application: go to the Application page within our website and click on the icon to download and install the Desktop application. It will download the installation data and then it will tell you that the same version is already installed, but will give you the option to un-install that version. Please select that option. Then you can select to install the trainchinese Desktop application again. Hope that solves the issue! If the problem still is there, then the only potential reason could be the Adobe Air environment: Please check the following suggestions from Adobe to find out your current Adobe air installation version and to update that to the newest adobe Air: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb403150.html I have uninstalled Adobe Flashplayer and Adobe Air and reinstalled them.I also followed your instrauctions to de-install your application. When I try to reinstall the desktop sw for Train Chinese, the installer still 'hangs'.Not sure what the problem is. |
