I would really like to be able to practice words that I've "learned". For example, when I choose a list, I can't find any way to force the iPad app to let me practice them.

Is it possible?

Thanks,
John

To modify the status of cards, you most functions are available on the application (to access them just swipe along the entry of the list or press long time on it). You also can log into the website of trainchinese, there you can change the status of all cards, wake up cards which are sleeping and much more.

Just remember to Update Cards form the application after making the changes on the website!

can you tell me the location on the website that let\'s you \"unlearn\" an entire folder? I found it only for card-by-card basis. I looked in the forums so if you\'ve answered this before sorry, just post a link. Thanks!

The Unlearn function is available for the individual cards or by selecting (all or parts) of the learned cards.

To unlearn many or all cards that has been memorized:
  • After logging in, select Content, then "All Memorized Cards" then you can select all/some of the cards you want to re-learn.
  • Using the function in the header of the list of learned cards, you can also organize the memorized cards by personal difficulty to learn them before selecting those which you want to re-learn. Those cards with more faults and which have been learned long time ago will be put into the top of that list.

Is there any way I can do this based on what list they are in? That should be pretty easy to put in a sortable header.

One final point, even though you are only displaying 25 cards when I touch on  the header to sort for date learned it should consider all 1000+ card dates before redisplaying the results.

Thanks,
John

Is a good idea to have the possibility to consider a list approach. We will see if we can implement that (qill give an update on that coming week).

As for the number of cards considered in the selection of cards to be re-learned. Of course it considers all of your cards. You can also increase the number visible in the page by changing the number of cards to be displayed in the page (up to 100).

Good news,

we have added a new quite powerful search function that allows to select all cards based on many criteria (such as List they belong to, status, type ...) and then perform the same action on all of them.

To use that function: Select Content and then All Flashcards. Then on the right side of the window press on the button to search that will open the search menu.
