I've noticed we have the option to add study notes to our cards. When we add them, are they added to the prompt side of the card or the answer side of the card?

First of all sorry for the delay in answering your question!
In the app (as well as on the website) you can set on how to use notes. In the Flashcards they can be used as an addition to the existing translations (added at the end) or as a replacement for existing translations. Notes are not shown for searches in the dictionary unless you select to view details of the word. They are also not used for indexing in the dictionary (i.e. if you add "Family" as a note to a card, the result after searching for "family" will not include that word). One additional info: If you share your lists with other users then they can also copy your notes for the shared words. Otherwise the notes are private. |
