Training modes distruction

why am i getting other training modes in the random moments of a drill even when i've picked up the only one training mode? for example i want to practice listening with "Audio Recognition", but im getting asked to write characters in the end

i wish i could practice all of the words without getting distracted with other modes

Hi marakeshmariq, if you log onto trainchinese.com using your account details, go to More..., then click on Training settings. Under Training mode on the page, check only these two:

I want to train using:

Recognition of spoken word or phrase
You will hear the audio and try to recognise the meaning (if no audio is available the pinyin will be displayed).

Translation into Chinese
You will see English words and phrases, and indicate whether you know the Chinese translation.
